The Process
Four stages, from the first message to skin. Each one designed so the piece develops from your anatomy, with no surprises.
- Step01
First Contact
We discuss your idea and the area to work on. We ask for photos of the area to study the anatomy, assess the possibilities, and start defining the project's direction.
- Step02
Deposit & Development
Starting the design process requires a deposit of $50.000 ARS (deducted from the final price). Once confirmed, I develop your proposal based on the anatomy of the area and your idea.
- Step03
Project Presentation (1–2 hrs)
At the studio, I present the concept developed for your tattoo. We make the final adjustments and, through freehand marker work, adapt the composition directly onto your anatomy so every line and pattern naturally follows your body's shape before we start tattooing.
- Step04
Execution
Execution begins by building the piece's main structure. Later sessions (if needed) develop textures, details, and finishing touches until the project is complete.
/ Philosophy
I don't adapt a design to the body. I design for that body.
About Me

I'm Mariano Zanotti. I design geometric and ornamental tattoos that grow out of each body's anatomy. Rather than applying an idea to skin, I study its shapes, proportions, and movement so that every line flows naturally and the piece becomes part of the body. Each project is built from scratch, with technical precision and attention to detail, aiming for a balance that holds up over time. I work with people who understand a tattoo as a composition designed for that body and made to last.

Yes, as long as the project fits my style of work. Before accepting it, I assess the tattoo's condition, why it was left unfinished, and whether it can be properly developed.
It depends on each case. Some pieces can be done in a single session, while others require several days of work. I'll give you an estimate during planning.
Yes. Every project is developed from scratch, taking into account the anatomy, the client's idea, and the composition of the piece. I don't work with pre-made designs or reproduce other artists' tattoos.
If you need to reschedule, letting me know with enough notice (at least 72 hours in advance) we can arrange a new date. Last-minute rescheduling or no-shows may result in losing the deposit.
I specialize in geometry, ornamental work, and compositions inspired by the body's anatomy. If your idea is far from that approach, we can talk it through to see if I'm the right fit for it.
